Who We Are

At Warrior Homes of Collier, we believe that no veteran should ever feel forgotten or alone. Since 2010, our mission has been to provide a strong foundation for those who have served, offering support in housing, mental health, and education. We’re more than just a nonprofit – we’re a community that stands by our heroes, ensuring they have the resources, stability, and care they deserve. Through compassion, connection and unwavering support, we help veterans and their families build brighter, more secure futures.

What We Do

Our signature program, Warrior Homes, is held close to the hearts of many patriotic citizens, charitable organizations, and government services within our county. Warrior Homes provides healthy and safe living environments for veterans in need of a hand up and not a handout. Warrior Homes started in early 2018 as the result of our community coming together to address the homeless issues faced by local veterans. Many businesses, contractors, and volunteers have generously donated their time and materials. Without our supporters, the Warrior Homes program would not be what it is today. We help reduce homelessness in veterans by collaborating with our community partners, St. Matthew’s House, St. Vincent de Paul, the Hunger & Homeless Coalition and the VA. In addition, major support and funding by the private sector such as the Collier Community Foundation, the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, and philanthropic donors and organizations like Gold Star and Blue Star Mothers has allowed us to fulfill our mission. To end veteran homelessness in Collier County, we have committed to a Functional Zero status, meaning no homeless veterans in Collier County. The Warrior Homes program currently provides 39 beds for local veterans. We believe this capacity can house veterans who want to be housed for the foreseeable future.
