Who We Are

The United Way of Collier and the Keys responds to community issues by uniting people and resources to create lasting change for a brighter future.

What We Do

United Way of Collier and the Keys (UWCK) improves lives and strengthens communities across Collier and Monroe Counties by bringing together people, resources, and ideas to solve local challenges. We fund trusted nonprofit partners, run internal programs, and lead innovative initiatives that address the region’s most urgent needs—from disaster response and reef restoration to economic mobility and early childhood education.

Our work is guided by four key pillars:

  • Youth Opportunity – Supporting children and families through literacy programs, school readiness, and enrichment opportunities.
  • Healthy Community – Increasing access to food, mental and physical healthcare, and basic needs.
  • Financial Security – Helping ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families through job readiness, tax assistance, and affordable housing support.
  • Community Resilience – Building capacity for long-term recovery from disasters and investing in environmental sustainability.

Every dollar raised stays local, ensuring our impact is felt right here at home. UWCK serves as a connector, collaborator, and catalyst for change, driving forward solutions that help every individual thrive.
