Position Overview:
Wellfit Girls is seeking a dedicated and skilled Grant Writer to support our mission of empowering teen girls through transformational leadership, fitness, and outdoor adventure programs. This role will be instrumental in helping us secure the funding necessary to sustain and expand our programs, ensuring that more young women can build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify grant opportunities from private foundations, corporations, and public funding sources that align with Wellfit Girls’ mission and initiatives.

Write and submit persuasive, clear, and well-structured grant proposals, Letters of Intent (LOIs), and supporting materials.

Collaborate with the Executive Director and program staff to gather information, impact data, and stories needed for compelling proposals.

Maintain a grants calendar to track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.

Prepare and submit required grant reports, ensuring compliance with funder guidelines and timely delivery.

Maintain organized records of proposals, funder communications, and templates for future use.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in grant writing, preferably within nonprofit, youth development, education, or human services organizations.

Excellent research, writing, and communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Familiarity with fundraising strategies and nonprofit funding sources.

Passion for empowering young women and alignment with the mission of Wellfit Girls.

We are looking for volunteers for our upcoming Swinging With Purpose® Golf Tournament. Volunteers are essential to the success of the event, providing support before, during, and after tournament play. Responsibilities include assisting with setup and breakdown of event areas, helping with player registration, managing crowd control, offering directions, supporting scoring and timing operations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for players and spectators. Volunteers contribute to a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, while gaining a behind-the-scenes look at tournament operations.

Wellfit Girls is seeking a volunteer videographer/photographer to support our upcoming Swinging With Purpose Golf Tournament. This individual will provide full-day coverage of the event and create short, edited highlight videos and photos that will be used for future event promotion and storytelling. This is a wonderful opportunity to use your creative skills to support a meaningful cause and help us capture the energy, impact, and community spirit of this signature event.

Committee members play an important role in supporting our programs and events by offering ideas, guidance, and hands-on support. Committees meet for one hour each month, with occasional additional tasks or projects outside of meetings (such as outreach, event support, or brainstorming). This is a meaningful way to contribute your skills, connect with others, and make a difference in the lives of girls in our community. We are looking for members to join our Marketing, Development, Finance, Programs and Events Committees.

This volunteer role provides essential administrative support to help keep operations organized and efficient. Key responsibilities include organizing and digitizing documents, performing data entry, and assisting with scheduling speaking events or meetings. Volunteers in this position contribute to smooth day-to-day functioning and help ensure that communication and planning efforts run effectively.
