OUR DAILY BREAD FOOD PANTRY (ODBFP)

OUR MISSION: Our Daily Bread Food Pantry (ODBFP) exists to share the love of God by reducing hunger for our neighbors in need. OUR VISION: To reduce food insecurity and improve the health of Collier County children, families and seniors by building strong community partnerships to offer nourishing food choices, encouragement, and hope. Please note that while many of our volunteers are called by their individual faiths to serve others, there is no religious requirement to receive food and all eligible guests are welcomed with dignity, kindness and respect.

Our current programming includes: Pantry & Mobile Distributions providing food 6 days a week averaging 10 monthly opportunities for food-insecure families throughout southern Collier County; Healthy Kids School Program projected to serve 800 low-income students from seven Collier County Public Schools (grades K-12) within our service area on a weekly basis for the 2025-2026 academic year; and our Special Services for Seniors Program providing deliveries for the homebound and supplemental Harry Chapin Food Bank Care and Share food kits designed to address the specific nutritional requirements of any eligible guest over age 60, as well as our monthly “Lunch With Friends” event designed to also feed the souls of seniors who are feeling isolated and alone. Based on our firm belief that “Food is Medicine,” we are committed to ensuring our Family Food Packs include fresh fruits and vegetables and always meet or exceed the USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans (2020-2025) to provide maximum nutritional benefits, reduce food insecurity and help the children and families we serve lead healthier lives. Our collaborations with multiple key community health organizations are also focused on ensuring that nutrition education and health screening resources are easily accessible for everyone throughout SW Florida.
