St. Columba is a church of open hearts and open minds. At the heart of Christianity is a call to live out a ministry of welcoming friend and stranger into our hearts and lives. As Jesus preached: “As you do unto the least of these, you do unto me.” We believe that means putting aside personal judgment and seeing Christ in each of us. Stepping outside our comfort zone to understand another’s perspective. Calling us to help others receive what we have received in Christ. We believe that by looking after the good of others and asking “How Can I Help”, we bring alive the Gospel of Christ.
